Why, hello there!

I’m Kyrene. Welcome to the chronicles of my travels. I’m an explorer and adventurer filled with a wonder for the world, deep love for people, and a very big appreciation for time in nature. It’s my goal to spread warmth, joy, and love wherever I go, and to change the world little by little, in my own way, by making a small positive impact on people and my surrounding community, whenever I can.

I started this blog many years ago as a photo blog, born out of passion for photography and wanting a way to relive the experiences that our eyes can only quickly capture. But after some time, as I took time to really reflect on all of these my experiences traveling and how meaningful they’ve been to me and my story, I found myself wanting to put my thoughts down on paper. To let it flow. Both for myself to eventually look back on, and to inspire others to pursue their dreams in the same way.

The blog, while still a work in progress in many ways, has since evolved into a compilation of my thoughts and experiences abroad, as well as into some (hopefully) useful bits of travel information to help plan your own travels.

It’s meant to be written in my voice, traveling the way I do, while also imparting bits of useful pieces of information that I’ve gathered along the way. I’m big into off-the-beaten path places and experiences, traveling slow and really trying to get to know and place and the culture, and finding adventure and wandering wherever the road takes me. I hope you can find some inspiration and useful bits of information to plan your own adventures. Much more to come and happy reading!
