Why, hello there!

I’m Kyrene. Welcome to the chronicles of my travels. I’m an explorer and adventurer filled with a wonder for the world, love for people, and deep appreciation for time in nature. I started this many years ago as a photo blog. I was passionate about photography and wanted a way to relive all the beautiful experiences that my eyes had only been able to quickly capture, and brain had only been able to store glimpses of. But over the years, as I took time to really reflect on all of these experiences, I found myself wanting to put my thoughts down on paper, to let it all free flow, both for myself to look back on and to inspire others.

The blog has since evolved into a compilation of my thoughts and experiences abroad, as well as into some (hopefully) useful bits of travel information that you can take with you to help plan your own travel.

It’s meant to be a blog written in my voice, traveling the way I do, while also imparting bits of useful pieces of information that I’ve gathered along the way. I hope you can find some inspiration and help along the way of planning your own travels. Much more to come and happy reading!
